At the request of Grandma Phyl, we are going to start uploading more photos of the boys to this blog (instead of just Flickr and Facebook). I just finished processing all of today’s 7 month shoot, so for your viewing enjoyment, here you go!

The boys turned 7 month old on July 30 (seriously, where the heck did July go??)

Henry
Henry can roll both ways, scooch on his tummy, sit up unassisted, hold his own bottle, blow raspberries, babble, screech, press buttons, untie daddy’s shoes, put his own paci in his mouth and pet Scout. He wants to crawl so badly! He gets up on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth, but hasn’t figured out the logistics of the arm and leg movement yet. He has one tooth popping through his gums and just experienced his first cold. He babbles softly while he eats baby food and cereal and no longer makes a horrible face while we try to feed him. He likes to play on the floor or hang out in his exersaucer and still takes an evening nap in his swing. He is a very smiley and giggley baby. He loves to play, sing and clap his hands, but also loves to be held and to snuggle.
Joey
Joey can roll both ways, can sit up if he balances on his hands, drink water out of a sippy cup, scooches on his back like a caterpillar, blows raspberries, screeches and says ya-ya-ya, na-na-na and da-da-da. He is a great eater, loves cereal and baby food and sometimes holds his own bottle. Joey is our crazy baby. He has lots of energy and is constantly moving (even in his sleep). He started rolling both ways about 2 weeks before his brother, and can roll across the room in no time. He LOVES his jumperoo. He jumps like crazy and squeals with delight. He sleeps on his tummy or his side, and he kicks his legs like a frog when I go in to kiss him good night before I go to sleep. Joey has a mischievous grin and the most kissable dimple in his right cheek. He makes us all laugh and will be running circles around us when he’s a toddler.
H & J
Both boys have recently discovered Scout and think that he is hilarious. They will see him walk by or towards them and giggle and reach out for him. Scout likes to lick their noses and their feet. H&J will play with their toys together for about 30 minutes at a time. They like to press buttons and especially like their toys that light up and make noise. They are really aware of their surroundings and will smile when mom or dad walks into the room. They will often play with the same toy together, but sometimes they steal toys from each other. They don’t seem to bothered by this and will just find another toy to play with. They are really happy babies and our only complaint is that they are growing too fast!
